Hazardous Areas and Harsh Environment Electrical Connection Specialist Launches Catalogue

Electrical safety pioneer, Hawke International, a specialist in electrical connection in harsh and Ex classified environments, has released a new 166 page catalogue.  The company designs, manufactures and distributes cable glands, connectors and enclosures.  These are used extensively by the global oil, gas and petrochemical processing industry and also in mining and industrial applications.

Covering the entire range of internationally certified products, the catalogue also has applications information and technical data to assist engineers and designers in selecting the most appropriate product for each situation.  Available as a hard bound copy or a PDF download from the Hawke web site, the catalogue gives detailed guidance on technical standards together with product compliance data relevant to differing regional and national safety certification standards.

Phil O’Connor of Hawke explained, “Many customers know us for cable gland products and are sometimes unaware that we produce other equipment to ensure the electrical reliability and safety of critical processes in hazardous areas.  The new catalogue will introduce them to the many other ways that we can solve problems of cable termination, power connection and protection of electrical equipment from dust and explosive gasses in harsh conditions.”
